Sean Salisbury is a douche. He thinks he knows everything, and then will contradict himself a few hours later. He is nothing more than an ex NFL bench player who thinks he was greatness. He picks on Clayton because look at him. It is a playground bully situation. Clayton is a Hall of Fame reporter, so when Salisbury cuts him off and will not let him get a word in, it is comical.
It is too bad he does not realize how big a douche he actually is. ESPN should run some footage of him putting his foot in his mouth, just to shut him up.

I believe it's that Salisbury has convinced himself that he was a great player and that no "geek" could possibly know more about football than he does. SS comes across as a school bully, a preening egotistical ******.
Clayton, on the other hand, has a brain.
It is true that Salisbury played in the NFL. But check his numbers and you will see that he was truly mediocre at best and generally awful.

Clayton's a jerk, but even scumbag and douchebag are not enough to accurately describe Salisbury.

LOL. I dont agree with GOSANE.
The reason I say that is because there have been a few times where I can totally see that one or the other has gotten sooo pissed at the other they literally have turned red!
I like this little rivalry. Its as real as tv can get sometimes. I dont know what started it but I do know they can hack at eachother pretty well!

It is funny, I'm sure it probably started out genuinely, but who knows if it's now an act or still a genuine desire to outdo each other.
Do they have any of their split-screen commentaries on youtube? It's almost so good that ESPN could offer it on pay-per-view.

BECAUSE JOHN IS A REAL EXPERT, AND SEAN WAS A 2ND RATE HACK AS A PLAYER AND HORIBLE ON COMENTARY. PLUS JOHN USED TO RIP HIM WHEN HE WAS A BACKUP HERE IN SEATTLE AND JOHN COULD BLAST HIM TO HIS FACE...
