k..so i just started a new school and one of the "popular boys just came up to me asked for my name n then number.. ..i was really moody that day so i just plainly said no...he just put his head down n said okey...latter on he was walking with some other boys in the corridor and when as he saw me ,he gave me this sort of dirty look and said that i turfed on him to the other guys..from then on he just ignores me...i mean...first of all..what the hell does "turfed on him " mean?...and i actually like him, but i dono if he really likes me back or what???

If you like him, maybe you should go up to him and say that you're sorry you turned him down, but you were feeling moody that day. Go up when he's not with a load of mates, and explain. See what his reaction is. If he's worth going out with, he'll forgive your present moodiness.

hard to answer because I don't know the guy, but if he's popular and a "player", he's just playing the game.

If you really want to see what he's all about, try to find him in a situation where he's not influenced by his friends and then explain the situation of being new. Don't come off in a way that you're vulnerable because if he's a player, he will definitely take advantage.

turfed it denotes stepped on-denied-cut off,you get the jist he sounds completely imature leave it alone and just be yourself,by the how do you no you like him if he does'nt talk to you i think you just want something you cant have in real life i bet he's a dick

It sounds...but I dont know for sure....that he thinks you disrespected him.
Just smile at him and say lightly, "Whatever you think I did...I didn't mean to...I was just in a bad mood that day"

You blew it. He's mad at you now. If you liked him, you should have been nice to him, and not have rejected him.
