I am trying to uninstall skype from my pc as i no longer use it, but when i go in add and remove there is no choice to remove it.Does anyone know how else i can remove this program.

A previous attempt to un-install Skype failed. Try this:

Download Skype again and install it.

Then, go to ADD / Remove... Skype will now be listed there.

Then, un-install it normally.

If you find the folder on the hard drive there sometimes is an uninstall file. Run it. If it says it can't open the files or has other problems, delete the entire folder. If you know how do a search on the registry and remove anything that has Skype in it.

Try going to Start and find it under All Programs. There may be a facility to uninstall from the Skype link in the program list.

First remove all of its contents from your programe files and documents and setting and then remove it from add and remove programe, just click there and it will take some time but it will be removed

reinstall then uninstall, or visit the folder C:\Program files\Skype\Phone and run the file unins000.exe if found

press start all programes look for it there then there should be an option to uninstall form there

Go into my computer>DriveC>Program files>Skype, then delete all the files

start programmes skype uninstall.yes skype aint to brilliant.
