It all depends on your own school's policies. If the school has said that no schools are allowed, then that should be sufficient. You may not like the restriction, but it will in place for ver good reasons, the top one being your own safety. You may not remember this, but a couple of years ago there was a craze for 'happy slapping'. If students do not have mobiles, the happy slapping stops. Another safety issue is that most mobile phones now come equipped with cameras. Would you like your picture taken by somebody, without your express permission, and put onto a website? Of course not. Then there is the issue of theft. Many mobile phones now, especially the latest models, are worth quite a lot of money. Give one to an 11-12 year old who fancies flashing it about at school, and you are creating an environment for students to be attacked.
If you are unhappy with you chool's decision to ban mobile phones, get on the school council to try and change it. Alternatively, speak to some of your teachers and get their sage opinion. you may be surprised at just how many support this type of ban. BTW, at the school where I teach, I am a rigid enforcer of our phone ban, for all the reasons I have stated above as well as a few more.

No one can stop you bringing a phone to school, but the teachers can take it off of you if they hear it going off in class because this is disruptive, if I were you then I would put it on silent and that way you can still take it just not getting caught. Thats what I used to do anyway. hope this helps you out a little:)

We're allowed to bring phones into school but they must be switched off until the end of the day.

first of all, i do no longer think of you will possibly desire to be irritating approximately this. initiate paying interest in English type and locate out the thank you to spell previously irritating approximately cellular telephones and iPods being allowed in training. it fairly is allowed no longer aloud, it fairly is is going no longer gose and it fairly is ours no longer ares. Secondly, i'm no longer a instructor yet i do no longer think of cellular telephones or mp3 gamers might desire to be allowed in faculties. you're there to benefit, no longer socialize. you have time after college and between training to chat at the same time with your acquaintances. I additionally do no longer think of your instructors might desire to be allowed to respond to their cellular telephones at an identical time as they are working. stop whining and pay interest at college.

Do you mean allowed?
They are illegal in school in some places.
Why do you need a phone in school? For what purpose do you need a phone that can't wait until after you get out of the building and off school property?

Of course not. If you've got a mobile with you, 1) there's a chance of them going off in class, and 2) the stress of having them nicked. However, I think your spelling says it all, don't you?
