I'm thinking it's best to just say the letters.

LOL, even when you just say the letters, it still sounds a bit rude. (especially if you say it quickly)

FAQ is shorthand for "Frequently Asked Questions," and the phrase turns up so often that many people use only the first letters. Oddly, it is not a phrase you pronounce much, but you see a lot in writing material, often in circumstances where space is very limited. By general convention, it is written as you did, in capital letters.

I would think there are very few people who tried to pronounce it. It is not the first phrase to be abbreviated, and it will not be the last. Custom dictated the treatment of this phrase, and all others that came before and will come after. Personally, I have never tried to pronounce it, and I know of nobody who may try, except by saying the letters. Such is the custom.

I dont think there is any need to pronounce te word, it always better to say F A Q's serperate and slowly!!!! :)
