there may be many reasons for your sleeping problems. To start with though - for half an hour before you go to bed, turn off the computer, tv and all bright lights, have only dim lights and nothing that is noisy or exciting going on. Have a warm bath or shower and a drink of warm milk
Play some very soft music - like enya - and relax and slip off to sleep. If you keep hain 'busy thoughts' in our head the write them down on a bit of paper next to your bed - this is your 'do tomorrow list'

Finall - do thse3 things to help your body relax
1. mke sure your hands are unclenched
2. ensure your shoulders are relaxed and down - noy hunched up and
3 drop your bootom jaw down - not in a tight biting position

If afetr half an hour you are still awake - get up and do something sedate - read for 10-15 minutes untill the next wave of tiredness arrives

happy snoozing

To find a cure you need to know the cause. Are any problems keeping you awake worrying? Try writing them down before going to bed, even keep a notebook by your bedside to jot them down as they come to you, so you can tell yourself you will deal with them in the morning. Did you have too much to eat, and is indigestion or acid reflux keeping you awake? Try eating your last food at least two hours before bedtime. Don't work or watch TV in the bedroom. Make sure the bedroom is well aired, and bedcovers are neither too warm nor too cold. Drink herbal tea like chamomile, or warm milk, or a malty drink like Ovaltine or Horlicks. Have a warm bath at bedtime, maybe with relaxing essential oils such as lavender. Read a boring book. Good luck.

The synthetic mild from the laptop reveal (or even your mobile) can minimize melatonin (the sleep hormone) creation to your frame. Try taking a melatonin suppliment. I take 1mg melatonin on nights that I cannot sleep and it really works like a allure! The most effective downfall to taking melatonin is if you are taking it each and every night time your frame gets used to it and you are going to have got to broaden how a lot you are taking. I attempt to most effective take it every so often. I additionally love scorching tea containing camomile to support me loosen up. Sleepy Time Tea with honey is distinct. :)

since you just posted this question, i can safely assume you are not attempting sleep an appropriate time. you cannot sit in front of a computer stimulating your mind and hope to establish sleep. you have to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time to have good sleep hygiene. most people develop perceived insomnia by constantly changing the times they attempt sleep. too many people have t.v's in their room, and think that it helps them get too sleep, in accuality, it prolongs your sleep onset. the same can be said of computers. light is a stimulant, when our eyes are exposed to light, we produce a chemical called seratonin, which gives us energy, when our eyes are exposed to darkness, we produce a chemical called melatonin, which promotes sleepiness. this is called the circadian rhythm. think about it terms of food. if you skip breakfast, you overeat at lunch time, which affects how hungry you are at dinner time. what sleep you lose you can never get back, it is called sleep debt. you can only improve on your future attempts.
