and rarely get answers and even those are devoid of intelligent rationale? Meanwhile liberals tend to give me answers that are very nicely written, balanced, even admitting some flaws in the democratic positions, even criticizing democratic lawmakers at times,and exhibiting a true passion and reverence not for a man or a political party but rather a respect and love for the constitution of these United States???
Why do the republican responses seem like they come from people who have anger management problems and say things like, you should be shot for calling general Petraeus a traitor?

Too many people are closed minded these days. If our government was run with common sense instead of strict party lines, we may accomplish a whole lot more. That goes for our citizens as well. Our WHOLE GOVERNMENT is responsible for the mess this country is in and people better start becoming better educated on what is truly happening or the US will be a third world country. As for the Republicans, many are finally realizing the Bush Policies are not in this countries best interests. Majority of Republicans and Democrats can finally agree on something.

First of all, how do you even know who's a Republican and who's a Democrat? Plus, there are people out there who do not fall in either category. I personally, am a conservative but I by no means agree with everything that the Republicans do. In all reality, I am disgusted with both political parties. However, if I were to support what you were saying, whether it be with an intelligent answer or incoherent ramblings, you would assume that I must be a Democrat because I agree with you. On the other hand, if I disagreed with you, once again the educational level of the answer would not matter, I would automatically be labeled as ignorant, stupid, and obviously a Republican.

Not giving any examples of the questions you have asked makes it hard to give you an accurate answer. I will say that if your questions asked were similar to this question, I can understand why the Republicans gave you negative answers. You seem to be accusing Republicans with the way you worded this question. Also, you are basing your findings on the few responses from Liberals and Conservatives here. They in no way represent ALL Liberals and ALL Conservatives. I suggest that when you ask another question.......make it direct and specific. For instance, you would ask " Why did the US go to war with Iraqi?" would give you a much better response than would " Why are Republicans killing Iraqis and stealing their oil?"

Really? Where are you going because Ive yet to meet a Democrat who can respond in a nicely written balanced fashion. I have yet to find a Democrat who knows the definition of civility.
Its just "Bush is stupid" "Bush lied" Its like you guys keep repeating the same things over and over again is going to make it true.
And I especially dont see how you can honestly say that any attack on General Petreous attacking his character and integrity or his report by a bunch of people who have absolutely no military experience is anything but partisan nonsense from people who care more about their position than the truth.
If you guys love the Constitution so much it would be nice if you guys actually lifted a finger in helping the rest of us defend it.

interestingly I seem to get the exact opposite response. The conservatives tend to be rational and thoughtful in their responses and the liberals tend to engage in ad hominem attacks on anyone who happens to disagree with their groupthink or asks them to support their position with facts instead of opinion.

Well, your delivery needs a whole lot of work. You've established in a few short sentences that you believe that republicans are Satan, and that liberals are perfect little angels. I think you're assuming that anyone who gives an unintelligent answer is a republican, and that makes you a bigot.
