When it comes to using men, they operate like a double agent. It's just reprehensible, yet they simply don't care. What gives?

Sorry you got burned, but all "older" american women are like that. I really don't think age should be a basis on a persons maturity. I have seen 22yr olds mor emature than 35,40,50 yr olds. Life experiences, I think, define how you react to people. I understand you're bitter right now but making such a broad accusation isn't helping your case, and it will most likely not get you the answers you're looking for.

Generalizing is not the way to go. What if I said that all men were assho#es? You would not appreciate that either. I don't know what has happened to you to give you that attitude, but you will never find a good woman that way. Evidently you are looking in the wrong places for a woman to share your life. There are plenty of us good ones out there. You just have to weed through the bad ones to find us, just a we do to find a good man.

As a Canadian woman I would have absolutely no clue! But I would have to say that it is probably a two way street and we live in a society today that it is acceptable to be a ***** and some women exercise that right!
