good can be present whenever an Individual gains consciousness of his/her actions thus an infant who is yet to know good or bad does not as like the tree and animal

Sorry, this question can't be answered philosophically, since it's based on a false premise.

Edit: I still maintain the premise is false, but want to say that timespaceworm's answer is excellent. You asked another question like this, as I recall, referring to "dumb animals & plants." If more humans had 25% of the wisdom, sensitivity & honesty of animals, the world would be a far better place. Humans would be "good" & not so very, very "dumb."

First of all , I have to say u here , Good is not object , it's just concept And so infant has not developed mind to decide or think a concept. and u know , tree or dumb animal has not enough thinking ability to understand The man made concept of Good.

You need to see more infants dude

Good can be found in the young, but it only ever begins when they start to empathise. You cant blame the children, as they are like sponges, and what ever role models that they have, they will mearly be a reflection of them.

Your generalising too many things, so please dont, because they do have good, and they are still young, naive, and innocent, and they still have the ability to change.

Good has to include motive as well as actions. Animals such as dogs can be trained to return your wallet if you drop it or bring the newspaper in but that doesn't mean they are being good.

Even at infancy, we learn behavior that gets us praise. This process goes on throughout life except as adults we use imagined praise instead of direct praise.

So the answer is that none of us are good because our motives are always to seek some reward, usually praise, or to avoid punishment.

Here just truth is present. When the process of knowing it begins, evil and good come to being.

If you can value people as ends in themselves and not merely a means to other ends, they are good.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

I believe that good is present in infants ... I believe that we are born with all knowledge and loose it with every passing breath as we are exposed to life here and now and influenced by our caretakers.
