that when you repeat a word a few times it starts to sound and look funny??? why is that??

Not only when I repeat them, but I have been known to type it, delete it, then type it again, click on spell check, still not satisfied that it looks right. Delete the whole sentence, restate the sentence so that whatever word was driving me "Bonkers" doesn't reappear.
And on these occasions, after the paragraph is completed; I'll sometimes go back and change it to the original form.

Oh, and by the way, YA's check spelling, leaves a lot to be desired. They do not seem to be using any known dictionary in the English speaking world. They have misspelled several words. When I write, there are 5 different dictionaries not even an arm's length away from me. And I also have Spell Check in WORD.
