In itself -- nothing. Of itself -- this is the operative context. Herein subjects pornography, which is to say, there is the societal determinant and the almighty control device 'got up' by this thing of mass social conscience -- Morality.

Pornography in itself can be "wrong" if -- as can be said true of anything -- we become excessive about it, its use or dependence on it as to cause imbalance within the individual or within ' the fabric of a "given" society. '

Eating food is "wrong" if we eat to excesses, but we do not wholesale throw out the idea of eating or the industries that produce the food to eat. Again, in itself food or eating is nothing wrong; only the excess of doing it is.

Nothing is wrong with porn. Long before porn came to be, there ALREADY was a market for it. EVERY sexually consenting adult HAS some "secret desire" within them; porn simply addresses such desires.

Porn's loudest objectors are the ones who see their own secret sexual fantasies/sexuality---and are afraid of it; they resent what is within them.
