I think men with female character traits are called femmes. (Is that derrogatory? Would there be a better term to describe?) How would you describe a woman who dresses femininly, is pretty, speaks like a woman; but thinks more like a guy? I'm looking for a good word. Thank you. If you don't know. Jokes for a laugh are welcome.

men with female characteristics can also be termed as metrosexuals. and sometimes just nice guys since men are all supposedly be aggressive by nature.

a woman who dresses femininely is not a tomboy. tomboys are those females who dress masculinely and think like a man.

in this case, a woman who dresses like a woman but thinks like a man may be termed as an independent woman. independent women describes those women who are leaders in the work force, acting aggressively and sometimes viciously just to climb over others to get to the top of the food chain.

i was gonna say feminists too because they think aggressively and have aggressive characteristics but they don't think like a man. they think like an extreme female.

another term to describe a woman who dresses like a woman but thinks more like a guy is to say that she wears the pants in the house, so to speak. it means that she is the head of the house, having the last say on everything, controlling everything, makes all of the final decisions, instead of the husband. another term comes to mind is a domineering woman. though, it sounds like a dominatrix and dominatrix wears more along the lines of s&m type of attire which is not very feminine in the classic sense.

so the best term so far seems to be an "independent woman".

The word you're looking for is, BALEBOSTE, a Yiddish word for a woman such as you describe, and a word from which we get the colloquial, "BALL BUSTER" ... Quite a pro pos in most cases, and usually NOT discovered until AFTER the nuptials are over by a week or two, and one's Mother-In-Law has moved in (Provided of course, that she has not gone on the Honeymoon with the lucky couple) It soon begins to feel as tho' one has been drinking steadily on a long and bad weekend(that no one can remember when it got out of control) and one has waked up in mortal pain and confusion, in Radio Free Perth Amboy, lying next to an equally hung over person who resembles Dick Butkus ....... Mazel Tov !!!

I think it she would be a handsome woman. Or as some people would say a "man's woman". If her masculine traits are good, as in she identifies well with guys, she is "the blade of women" according to urbandictionary.com it is the perfect laid-back girl who you should marry right away lol.

My spouse has moderate masculine useful properties which journey properly to my ecu useful properties. no longer something as severe as Arnold and Maria Shriver, however the comparable thought. She continuously describes her useful properties as: "reliable or Prominant useful properties" i think of that describes them terrific in a socially appropriate way.

How about "Tomboy?"

That's a girl who climbs trees, plays baseball and can kick butt when she wants to. But she's totally female and is usually pretty and the guys all absolutely love her to death.
