Well what do i do? i still can go on the internet but the start button is a different color and pictures too, it's all weird and stuff.I have a doctor scan, and if i scan it will it make it go? HOW DO I DELETE A VIRUS?!?! please HELP i have a windows xp

There's alot of anti-virus full suite,among them most of the people recommend AVG from grisoft,it has limited trial with full featur use that can slove to eliminate virus or other pc infection-threats.
But ur pc may have problem with grapics settings also or some defect or improper settings of display adapter which also gives rise to those sort of problem u mentioned.

it might or it might not be a virus. If you see different colors on your monitor, your video card might be damaged. You can try unplugging and plugging the monitor cable at the back of your CPU. Sometimes it's just loose. Are there line(s) across your monitor? If there is, then time to change your monitor.

I had the same exact problem and no matter what I did nothing fixed it I eventually had to set it back to factory default and start over.

try this right click on yur desktop > properties > settings tab > change the colour quality to 32 bit.......or download avg and scan
