FYI, I didn't make this up. I saw it in an old movie from the 40s (can't remember the name or the actor that said it) and it has stuck with me. Just wondered how accurate this statement might be for women in general.

No, I don't agree and I think it is sad that anyone does. Even through bad, troubled and tough times in my marriage I have never felt that way. If I did, I'd leave physically.

I agree with you, been married for 14 years and while I still love my husband I am not 100% into this marriage!

NO safetydancer I dont agree and if your wife has left you emotionally I suggest you try to find out the reasons before you become a bitter person trying to lug everyone into 1 box hey good luck.

I disagree...I have been married 11 yrs now and I have been fighting...working hard to make it work...some days my mind or even body may not be in it...but not for long...
I love my husband and plan to be with him till I die...body, mind, spirit and soul!!!

I agree, but it should be if you leave your husband and do not take your body with you than you are defeating the purpose, don;t leave unless you can leave with a hold body.
