Hi i have a problems we have to deliver World War II to Special needs children - my problem is we have 6 children 4 in wheelchairs with very little concept whats going on around them (1 who is also blind) + 2 very autistic children with no speech and a very short concentration spans!
What can i do to make this a Sensory session? I have thought about the 40's music but stuck from there on!!! Grrrrrr!! Plz some1 help me.

Look up some traditional military meals from the time period. Chipped beef gravy on toast comes to mind.

Have seem see, feel a flag. 40s music is a great idea! Pictures of 40s cars, refrigerators, etc. You can even purchase the $1.00 cars in small models and let the blind student feel it. Do you have any access to an old uniform? Or military pins? A globe showing where it took place. This is a tough one!
