First, Lebeza, it is wonderful that you are going to be engaged to your friend. Friendship is the foundation in long term relationships, so that's great.
I'd highly recommend waiting for sex. Especially if you know you are going to get married.
On the other hand, it never hurts to be prepared. Decide what birth control is best and start that.
You can go to Kama Sutra, Tantric Sex, and SexInfo101, and learn something.
Let things evolve naturally. Nothing wrong with kissing and petting a bit. Just don't let it get out of hand. Learn a bit about what she is comfortable with.
I do worry when people ask about sex where they kind of want to put it on the agenda, like making sure the bathrooms get cleaned, or the towels get to the dryer.
a) Clean the bathroom.
b) Towels to the dryer.
c) Have sex with my friend.
Sex should evolve from a feeling of friendship, trust, security, and love.
So,learn something, take it slow, keep it at her comfort level, and anticipate What Comes Next.
I wish you luck...and, Congratulations!

Assuming you two are engaged--what of it? Sex before you two marry won't be any different than sex shared on the wedding night---where you both might be a wee tad too exhausted after all that wedding fun, drive or flight to the hotel....etc....to even have sex.
Many women today still hold on to that little girl notion of a Barbie doll perfect wedding and honeymoon idea of waiting till after the " I do's " are said.
Screw (literally) the old social standards for once and live!!!
