england and australia advance to the next round.australia got 2 points defeating eng.similarly india got 2 points defeating pak.so will those points be carried over by the respective teams

Points will not be carried forward to Super 8. For exampl,e, Pakistan, India and Scotland are rated as No. 1, 2 and 3 respectively in Grou0p D. Although India have 3 points and Pakistan 2 points, in the Super 8 Pakistan will be still rated as D1 and India as D2.
