Cb type radio still?

yes got a amstrad 901 in my truck cobra 148 in my bedroom,maxcom in my kitchen and 3 hand helds lol

Sure thing. I have a Harrier CBX and a trusty old GP that withstands the ravages of the autumn winds.
Don't use it as much these days as there's always some wally chatting on the breakin channel and that's as annoying now as the mike-keyers use to be. But in the early days (nov 81) we all went by the book as far as ch14 and ch19 went and on the whole we had heaps of fun. The old CB was a useful tool for getting to know what was going down. With CB clubs and regular "eyeballs" we created quite a family type community in the neighbourhood, coowel.
Those were the days, my friend...(cue for a song..?)

lol, yeah (somewhere)
set up a few years ago but there was like 2 ppl on there so put it back in the cupboard.
would be tempted to dig it out again but the scaffolding pole the aerial was on broke off a couple of years ago in the high winds.

yes i still have my little midland 2000 and a york 863 still have the power pack and swr meter but no ariel now . they were good old days had a lot of fun on the old c.b .

Nope i did have them back in the early 80's though. Home base unit and 1 in my car with a pa system and echo chamber on, i had a lotta laughs with that!!

hell yes, the outgoing audio peetered out though so i can only listen now, but its great entertainment sometimes on long trips.
