I have been through some extremely tough things the past month ( some of you may have read what I wrote earlier ) and here I am talking with a fellow ( I thought was my friend ) and he is whinning to me about the fact that his woman caught him cheating with her step sister. When she confronted him right then & there he said it was all her fault because the " other " woman was staying with them. ( One sis helping out the other one ) which made it impossible for him NOT to climb into her bed on a daily basis ( she willing complied ) and he became so angry at being caught by his lady that he started beating her then & there. I was outraged when he told me of this, I spit in his face, turned and walked away.
He is now serving time in jail and rightfully so.
What else really made me sick, was the fact that the step-sister watched the entire thing and did nothing to stop it. Claiming that from that day forward he was her man.
Should they both rot in hell?

I applaud you for standing up and being a real man in this situation. Of course, the conniving, whoring step-sister wouldn't do anything. After all, she was sleeping with a married man...a man married to her step sister!
It is NEVER okay for a man to hit a woman. At 17, I got into an abusive relationship that I stayed in for years. While arguing, I couldn't say anything or I would get hit, slapped, kicked, pulled around by my hair, etc. And the blame was always put on me, as most abusers tend to do. "Well, if you would just keep your mouth shut..." I wasn't even allowed to speak my opinion, while I sat there and got berated. It was a horrible situation.
Thank God I got out of it with a few scars, both physical and mental, and am now married to a real man who would NEVER hit me. We have gotten into heated arguments and one of us always walks away.
A man who beats a woman deserves to be in prison for a very long time, as does anyone who witnesses abuse and does not step in in some way.

I dont agree with a man ever hitting a woman..and for the most part my husband feels the same, although he thinks that if a woman is going to fight like a man, ie Punch with a balled up fist to the face , etc.. then she better be prepared to be hit like a man..
In this case, he deserved to have his penis chopped off and put in a blender.. so he had zero right to hit her what some ever.. and his excuse was extremely lame.. he controls his penis .. its not like she put a gun to his head and made him have sex with the step sister..
Should they both rot in hell? well thats for god to decide.. adultery isnt just for him in this case in the lords eyes, since she new very well that she was messing with a married man she is just as much to blame, and some day they will both meet their maker, and they will pay for the consequence of their actions then..
You did the right thing by spitting in his face, he is scum.. not only did he hurt her emotionally but to continue to hurt her physically is even worse and neither will she get over.. she will carry the scars from both events for the rest of her life, she will never be the same person she was prior to this happening, she had a part of her stripped away from her that day that she will never get back..

No, a man should never strike a woman as in beating her. I would say that was true except for one scene I once witnessed. I once saw a "lady" slap her guy so many times that when he finally slapped her back, I was thinking, "Finally!!!" Keep in mind this was a slap, after she had slapped him so many times I'd lost count. He did not beat her or punch her. I guess he could have walked away but if I'd done that, I think I'd have been happy to only get slapped . LOL
Men that abuse women are really wimps at heart. That is why they take it out on those less able to fight back. I bet he let YOU spit in his face without doing a thing!

Poor wife: married to a cheating wife-beater. The step sister is a home wrecker; both she and jailbird soon to be ex-have reservations in Hell. Wife needs ASAP to get some professional help in seperating and eventually divorcing this louse before he permanently hurts or kills her.
Step sis can have her new bed buddy man: she'll get her issue in time....as well as her new bed buddy man.
Justice has a funny way of happening like that.

He is a low life!!! It is never ok for a man to hit a woman OR vise versa!! This is why I trust NO woman alone with my husband......not even my own relatives!! Women are just as deceptive as men...if not worse!! I mean you should trust your spouse or partner, but they are human after all and anyone can break at any point! Never say NEVER! I wouldn't have anything to do with either of the sinners in this situation!

No, a man should never strike a woman unless it’s a immediate life-threatening situation--ie she’s about to shot him in the head--and he has absolutely no other choice. And that’s rarely the case, because generally speaking, men are stronger than women and therefore would be able to overpower/restrain them in such a situation.
He deserves to be in jail, and I hope he’s there for a long time.
But, here’s a piece of advice for you:
If you live in the US, spitting in someone’s face is assault (yes, it is). So I’d suggest in the future that you restrain yourself (no matter how outraged you may be) unless you want to be sitting in jail too.

Your intitial question about a man having a right to hit a woman is no. a man should never hit a woman. he need to prove his manhood by walking away. it is sad that he could not face up to his responsibilities and accept the blame for his own actions. i feel very sorry for the innocent woman in this case who was told it was all her fault. she needs to stay away from this man after he is out of jail, get a restraining order on him, and ditch her evil stepsister as well. as far as your last question is concerned, that is between them and their God.

They both seem like dirt bags and deserve each other.And as for her she needs to not waste her time on this dirt bag and kick them both out to focuse more on her emotions and to move on with her life no matter how much he begs to get her back, he sounds like a loser and is not worth the time.
