Of thats right they don't care because it's the middle class getting screwed again. Why don't we make Iraq pay in oil revenue for policeing their country during a civil war.

What do you think?

Bush and his administration lied about WMD's and a direct threat to the USA that's why it is illegal you Republican finatics. When you lie to congress and the senate and you have currupted the free voice of the media to cautch you lieing i.e. Fox news and their bias to the Repulican party, than this war is completely illegal and one of the worst crimes commited by a US president. Bush should be impeached.

As for all you Repulican / religous right wingers that constantly mock the Dems for paying taxes to help the American poor and middle class. It is clear that you do not understand what your religion teaches. Think about it, would Jesus help a fellow man in need or go to war to kill peoeple who have commited no crime. Even Repulican half whits should be able to understand this basic principle. This is not something complex like evolution people. You are wrong even if you can not ever admit this fact!

There is no illegal war. Both houses of Congress authorized the use of Force in Iraq. that is all that is required by the constitution to make this war legal. As the Constitution is the law of the land and the Supremacy clause makes it the highest law of the land, this war was clearly legal.

If we take the Iraqis oil, then we did fight a war for oil. We didnt do that. and besides, I have no doubt they will pay us back when things are stable.

If we can stop evil before it gets to WW2 type proportions isnt it worth the money?

The same people who pay for the social programs that support people who don't want to work for a living.

Seriously though, it has been lost on me why Iraq is not paying for all its reconstruction and other costs with its own oil revenues. I can understand why we have to pick up the tab in places like Afghanistan, but Iraq is much different.

You should hear yourself rave.... Thank God you are not in a leadership position. First of all, a mature person would know that you don't throw 'all people' in one basket! If you don't like the Bush Administration, fine, but to say all Republicans are dumb and we don't care about war or the cost of war, is right down stupid. I am the Middle Class and I will support our troops any day! Apparently, you know little about Saddam , and the United Nations, and the terrorist global threat! Like many Democrates, you are all wind and no solution. Your party has it's chance, but all you'[ve given us is a 'do nothing Congress'..... wind, wind, wind. God help us!

I do agree that the iraqis should pay for this war though, but the price of freedom isn't free, be thankful u didn't have to give your life, just some money...

If we get to choose what we pay taxes for I would like to opt out of all social programs.

Explain to me how this war is illegal.

Is the definition of illegal now anything that leftist extremist hippies do not like?

As far as being an armchair warrior goes; despite the four bullets I have in my body as a token of my Marine career, I will remind the leftists that you do not need to put on a uniform to care about the security of your country. Get a new talking point, that one is beyond ridiculous

Illegal war? Approved by house and senate, I believe there are some Democrats in there that voted for it, whats that ones name, she was married to Bill Clinton, oh yeah Hillary, you know the one running for president. I wish the terrorist would not attack Republicans and just Democrats, maybe some day enough of you would die off till you figure out you have to fight for your freedoms and there are people in this world that hate you for just being American and want you dead.
I think some of you have forgotten, we didn't attack the people of Iraq, we attacked a dictator and his regime of killing and torture, he was a horrible tyrant that told a country that just went through 9/11 after many many requests that no, you cannot inspect my country for WMD's.

Democrats leave out a very important part of Jesus' message. The Bible also says if a man doesn't work, neither does he eat. When the Democrats enact that one, I will support Universal Health Care.

Well Paul Wolfowitz, remember him, he said before we invaded that Iraq oil revenues would pay for the war.

Bush is still working on that though with the 'Iraq Hydrocarbon Act' benchmarks that the Iraqi's are opposing!

Is Iraq a sovereign nation or not?

If they are they should be able to determine what they do with the oil in their country! If they want to nationalize it that's what they should do!!
But that's not what the Bush administration wants them to do.

So all of us and our future generations will pay for this war!!

Sounds like you are answering your own question. But setting aside WHETHER we should be there in the first place, it does seem the Iraqis can, and should , foot the bill.....
