i think he is just "thinking" about retirement so that he doesn't have to go to camp. what do you think.

Highly unlikely. Camp isn't all that difficult for the veterans nowadays. The practices during the regular season are tougher than what they have now.

He said he would need a month to get in shape. In today's NHL he would be better off going to Camp and keeping his paycheck than trying to work his way into shape once the season starts and still being suspended until you play a game.

The rumour I hear on The Fan the other night has him coming back halfway through the season. This keeps him healthy and ready to go for the playoff run.

Trying to pull a Roger Clemens?? No, I don't think he is. I just wish he would come to a decision. I'm not a Ducks's fan, but it's not right to keep stringing the team along like that.

That's the most ridiculous theory I've ever heard. It'll take him a month to get back into NHL shape so why would he do such a stupid thing?
