Oh man. Why didn't I think of going on the Internet and asking a bunch of strangers this?!?!?!!?!? Darn it. I could of been rich!!

There are three ways into riches:
1. Inherit it
2. Marry it
3. Steal it
All that aside, having a long term plan and goals and finding out how much you need to save per month to reach that goal is pretty much the only way to get rich. Oho you actually have to save too, just figuring out wont help.
Also everyone has diferent definition of rich, if 100million is your definition then you're 99.99% likely to fail. If it's 1 million then you should succeed with time.

Hubbard, the science fiction writer that invented Scientology said this but I think if you look around at other modern day cults like Christianity and Catholicism the same applies.
Hubbard said, "If you want to make a lot of money, start a religion".
Or you could open your own church, put some stain glass windows on it and have a big symbol of Christ on the roof, people will flock to your building and throw their hard earned money in a basket for you without question, collateral, or assurance of what you are giving them in return is legitimate or even for something at all.

Considering that wealth is relative, and that we are all competing against each other for wealth... the simple answer is to make more money than other people. How to do that, is for you to figure out.
(example for better explanation: $1 million seems like a lot of money, but if everyone made that much, it wouldn't be much... so you have to make more than everyone else to actually have more 'Purchasing Power' or wealth)

be creative, believe in yourself, don't give up on your dream, and take risks. These components along with work hard, and some luck is also needed. I wouldn't think anyone is just going to give you a magic bullet or silver spoon!!!
