God created people with souls and whether we chose to have a companion is up to the individual. God's companionship's are His people that He created. He designed us to have a soul mate on earth, not to be alone. It all began with Adam; he did not want him to be alone, so he made Eve. Whether our soul mate is a loving, faithful friend, or a companion, is entirely up to the individual. Our souls need nourishment, and love is the food to satisfy that need.

Souls are a "Self" awareness personality
often called "Ego"
the human is basically a Spirit that adventures in a human body meeting a world through the actions of a brain
The brain interacting with life forms mind while it is programming that which it learns from cradle to grave.
The personality ego is the 'Soul'
thus it is created by the Spirit Dwelling in the body.
What God created is all the individuals.
It is the individual termed "Entity" that joins the fertilized egg of the parents and journeys through life
and it is the individual entity that continues after death
the master now known as Jesus and for instance Moses and Elijah that also survived as souls as illustrated by the Transfiguration on the Mount when they communicated with the Master known as Jesus are but some of those who grew enough in Knowledge and wisdom to have achieved survival of the soul and transmuted the body itself to that which did not have to go through death.
It is the individual entities that create souls to be fitting companions of other souls that have progressed to further and greater adventures than those who just live to be buried in a graveyard

It's the other way around. Souls create gods. Seriously I don't know. That is an interesting question along with "What came first? The chicken or the egg."

I believe that mankind was created as a means for souls to progress . Souls are infinate and created by a form of reproduction unlike any that man is capable of comprehending; thus; we are told, be still and know that God is, was and ever shall be.

This is a good question Rena. The truth could be so.Is it possible for God to be lonely.I believe that all life needs companionship. It can prevent self loathing, and any negative emotion which may come to mind.It means i am apart of something which is real.Sharing a life with someone.Putting them first,This is the way to exist,I think the whole point to this question is to live unselfishly in this world.

Souls are our memories of the dead. Think about it, what if you're already dead then all of you're family are all dead, your clan had long reached it's last branches of offsprings. Your clan has been totally forgotten, how could one say that you existed? We say that our deceased grandparents' souls are just around us that is because we have them in our memory, in our limbic system.
