I get gifts from my fiance & family, then we all go out to dinner at Carrabbas, our favorite place to eat, especially when it's someone's birthday. One of us sneaks a message to the hostess that one in our group is having a birthday, the hostess tells the waiter/waitress. After the meal, the waiters & waitresses gather around the honored one, present that person with a hot fudge sundae with a lit candle in it, & they all sing Happy Birthday, in Italian. Other diners will clap or say Happy Birthday as well. We all do the same when other diners are the honored one. It makes for great family time together. Oh, yes, we take pictures too!!!!

Well usually i cook a big meal and i have my family come over. I did that for my mom who had been sick, so a special meal and be with people did her good, so on my birthday i made my mom feel special and that was a great birthday if i could do that, but now she has passes away and don't know what to do on my birthday this year and it is coming up soon too.

with breakfast in bed, (only if my birthday falls on a weekend,) maybe a meal out, but I always have a birthday cake. Next year my birthday falls on a Saturday, so hopefully it will be breakfast in bed, definitely in the evening I will be going out for a meal with entertainment afterwards, then staying in the hotel overnight. Hopefully I will have cards, cake and maybe a BBQ on the Sunday with family and friends, depends on the weather, IT'S MY 21ST. ha ha he he

I buy sweets for the teachers at school. I do not for the pupils because they are about 500 in my school.
