That happened to me one time! I was so embarrassed!

The plumber guy said that the piping was small for that toilet (it was a do-it-yourself remodel). So if I was in that bathroom, I'd had to throw it in the trash, but if I was in the other bathroom, I could flush it. In my house I live in now, or out in public restrooms, I flush it.

I'd invest in a trashcan with a lid, to keep your pets out.

I always flush them! I mean, that is what they are meant for, but I do not think they are safe for septic systems. If you can't flush them anymore since they might cause you "toilet issues" just wrap them in a wad of toilet paper and put them in the trash.

Wrap it in toilet paper and drop it in the trash can. Never flush it down the toilet.

I barely ever flush them. Always throw them away, just in case. Unless, of course, there's no trash can. That happened to me once. Then I flushed it down.

I NEVER flush mine. The house I grew up in was 100 years old, and my house now is 70 years old. You can't trust that old plumbing. I wrap it up real good in toilet paper and it goes in the trash. I also save toilet paper rolls so when I wrap it up it goes inside the cardboard tube.

I flush them. I am sorry, I am not going to grab them with my fingers and throw them away. Knowing my luck I will rip the bag when I am taking them outside to the trash and then BAM! all my tampons all over the street. Not a pretty sight. Never had a problem with flushing them.

They are deffinately not 'flushable'..
You poor thing..! :os

I always wrap mine up in toilet paper, then a brown paper bag or sheet of newspaper and throw them in the outside bin. I actually buy a pack of brown paper bags (you know, the ones just big enough to fit a sandwich in) and keep them in a drawer in my room. That way if they spill out of the garbage, no one has to know what they are!

:o)

Flush the tampons not the applicators.

If they disintegrated well enough to be flushable they wouldn't be safe to use. They would disintegrate inside you. I never flush them no matter where I am or the state of the plumbing. Sorry.
