this poped up when i went to watch a movie on my computer using windows media player 9 Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer. and where can i get it free have a dvd burner istalled on computer dvd-r and that is the kind of dvd i am trying to watch!

okay before i upgraded to 11 all i had is sound no when i upgraded to 11 all i have is sound too what do i do?

Make life easier. Try Power DVD.

You will need a video decoder and an audio decoder. Here are the links for some free ones:

Isn't that irritating when the bundled software for a dvd drive doesn't include these and they try to make you buy it from them? I so hate that.

just update windows media player 9 to windows media player 11
or go towww.microsoft.com and download windows media palyer 11 that should fix yuor problem
