seems io need ot upgrade but want a good cheap card for my sytem here is the card specs of the one im looking at

You need a SERIOUS upgrade. Yes the 5200 will work in that computer. You have an agp slot.

If you feel you need an upgrade... and are looking at video cards... You are playing video games. That 5200 is a dinosaur. You'd need to upgrade that upgrade. Consider a 7600GT for around $100 - of course you'd need a whole new motherboard, cpu, ram, and power supply to go with it.

If that 5200 is free than take it. Otherwise save your money and buy a new system. Todays games require far more than that 5200 can provide and far more than any cpu that will work in that motherboard.

If you have an AGP slot there, that card should work fine. You also need to bring up your RAM to at least 512mb level. PC should be fine for light office apps, internet, mp3, downloading but still slow even for light gaming.
