the outfit i have in mind includes a brown/white striped t like this one, only in brown:

I think the subtle mixing of polka dots and stripes is a great combo. This is in style at the time. I often mix plaids with stripes and I have a good time with it and get rave reviews! Do what feels good for you. Fashion is all about expressing yourself outside of the "box".

i personally believe any style depends on the personality of the person wearing the outfit. I put stripes and polka dots down to a bright and bubbly person.. so if you feel this suits your personality... go for it. Fashion is supposed to be fun!

Apparently half these people didnt read your entire question, telling you to get a brown shirt.......morons.....I think that because One is a tp and the other is a pair of shoes, they will be far apart to be a fashion no-no. I actaully think it will look good. But, I do think you should wear a lighter pair of jeans. I dont think a dark wash will look right. Hope this helps!

Yeah you should be good with that outfit. I would wear that, it's really cute. The polka dots arent too big, so the shoes should look really cute with that tee, plus the jeans will be dark. Are the jeans skinny or boot cut? I think those would look best.

A Difficult one. Maybe if the colours blend in well. Also watch that the outfit is not to "busy", which means it would be a strain on the eyes when looking at it for a long period. maybe something plain and soft in colour will help break up any clashes.

honestly, i think it looks fine if there's a solid color in the middle. the polka dots on the shoes aren't too bold, so they work with the stripes. the top will be the main focus.

usually i would say no, but because the polka dots are so small, and if you wear some solid pants, then i think it will be fine :)
