There reason is that it is absolutely unimportant for most of us to care what someone else is thinking if they are not talking about it. It is a fundamental difference between most men and most women. It doesn't mean we don't care. We are biologically programmed to be reactive to the environment around us. Sure, we plann ahead and anticipate contingencies. We just assume those around us will relate important information directly.
Women, on the other hand, have a penchant for trying to read minds or, in reality, faces. It has been scientifically shown that women can read much more emotional expression from a face than a man can. Dribes both of us crazy as a woman cannot fathom how a man apparently cannot see how she feels, like he doesn't care enough to notice.
The bottom line is that if your inquiry had an answer we were both willing to provide and (more importantly) of any importance, we would have already brought it up. What we don't understand is why you are asking us. It is not silly and we aren't unfeeling or secretive. Much to the contrary.

Well when you ask this it is hard to do.Why because most women do not really what to hear what we would say. I've been in trouble a lot of times for saying what was on my mind. Some of us men do not know how candy coat your words so it dose not hurt you feeling. So that is why we look like you are you are going to take a pint of blood.

Usually if a girl asks me what I'm thinking, and if the answer is "Not about You" then she gets mad.
Guys are an intricate piece of work. We can say what's on our mind when we have something on our mind to say, or usually we just don't acknowledge what we are thinking because we haven't had a lot of time to think about the question.

Well, most men have made the mistake and answered that very question openly and honestly. The problem is that it usually leads to the woman crying and or yelling. Please, remember the old saying "be careful what you ask for, you just might get it"

We men are not very much in touch with our feelings, and we like it that way. When women want to discuss our thoughts or feelings, it agitates us because we generally don't think about our feelings, and we don't want to.
Why is it important for women to discuss feelings and thoughts all the time?
How come women never want to talk about hockey or bass fishing?

It's a loaded question. My girlfriend constantly asks me what I'm thinking. Typically I'm relaxing and not thinking about anything important but in the rare occasion that I'm thinking about her and it's something negative and I tell her she can't take it. She's extremely sensitive...

Guess it depends on the question that you are asking. How do you feel about me? Sweety I love you... That is about as much in depth as we want to go ... We then do not want to hear. Awww you love me .. Tell me the reasons that you love me. Men being men

well not all us guys are like that i personally never shut up about my feelings:P just remember we men don't think with our emotions so when your asking how we feel it requires a fair bit of digging, alot of the timewe bury ourfeeling so that we can do everyday things.
