If she's not pregnant, and having nipple discharge, it's called "galactorrhea". It is sometimes associated with hormonal changes, certain medications, and excess stimulation. The dr. should be able to advise her, but it may clear up on its own in a few weeks.

Greenish discharge from the nipple is sometimes caused by mammary duct ectasia, which is a bacterial infection of the nipple duct. It can also be caused by a number of other types of infections, cysts, or related problems of the breast -- or it can be completely normal and not due to any real problems at all. But, because of the risk that this might indeed be an infection of some sort, I would STRONGLY encourage your girlfriend to call her doctor's office back and tell them she's having these specific symptoms and is concerned about an infection that could worsen or spread. A good doctor's office will at least put her on a waiting list so that if there is a cancellation in the next few days, she'd get a phone call letting her know she could come in in that timeslot.

Most likely, it is nothing serious. However, I think two weeks is too long to wait to get this checked out. Good luck!

p.s. If you'd like some more information about this, the Mayo Clinic has a good site here: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/nipple-discharge/WO00093

Discharge from your nipple is never good. Your friend needs to go to the doctor and get checked.
