In some Asian cultures, especially in the Indian subcontinent, in countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Nepal, money does offset an ugly face. For example, uglier the woman- higher the dowry her parents will offer for anyone who marries her.

The double standard still holds true. Men usually won't be interested in a woman if she's ugly, even if she's rich. On the other hand, women don't seem to mind about looks as much. It's easy to prove. Just look in the papers or magazines at couples in the news. How many times do you see a homely woman with an attractive man? Not often. How many times do you see an attractive woman with an ugly guy? All the time!

Yeah. There are some seriously ugly people out there who are loaded and have many girls.
One way to solve an ugly face: Go for plastic surgery, but the cost could amount to be quite high.

You better believe it. I perhaps am not ugly, but not any good looking thing either. I only got my lovely wife because of the way we met, and she got to know me as a friend first. Then once we were in love, she didn't care I wasn't as good looking as her. But as far as other women go... when I was poor nobody looked at me, but now I have a little bit of money and I get flirted with like crazy. Believe me I haven't gotten more handsome.

only if it(money) will be used to enhance the face but most people nowadays value the outward appearance over money and attitude.

No - but a good personality could. If someone has a good personality, I think they're good looking. If I can't stand a person's personality, then I can't stand the sight of them.
