It is ruining my life because it's all I can think about. It doesn't help that I have cirrhosis of the liver from Hepatitis C. cirrhosis is a terrible way to die. Does anyone have any words of comfort for me? I am so scared. Thank you.

Simply...just DON'T! I know, easy for me to say. You are in total control of your thoughts. Do not let your mind go there, immediately redirect your thought to something totally unrelated. You know, every one will die. Whether we worry about it, think about it, obsess about it, it will not change the fact that we will die nor will it change anything about our death itself. So, don't fear it. Face it and then forget it! I am sorry to hear about your ailments and an ulcer from worry would be another one you really don't need at this time or ever. STOP worrying. Live each day how you want to. Go where you want to go, do what you want to do, see who you want to see, say what you have to say. There are a million ways to keep your mind busy with thoughts. You just have to make it a point to do so and keep at it until it becomes effortless. Enjoy now!

Do not drink alcohol for one and for two get on a list to recieve a new liver. My friend had what you have and recieved a new liver and he says he feels so much better and has another 20 years left if he doesnt drink alcohol(hes 55 now).
Alot of it is that your mind is cloudy and not thinking right from all of the pollutants in your blood because your liver isnt cleaning it.
I feel for you but trying to help yourself might take your mind off the disease and you might get better like my friend.
I wish you the best!

Dude, "there is nothing to fear but fear itself." as J.F. Kennedy said. Death is a natural part of the world; every thing dies at somepoint. A plant, an animal, and me and you will die sooner or later. but forget about death and live life like its the last. I know its easier said than done, but you must TRY. I and CAN'T are not grammaticly possible. do things you enjoy.

P.S. my yahoo page has a link to my email. PLEASE email me ASAP! I'm concerned for your safety

i have had a lot of friends with hepatitis c. the ones that take care of themselves are still with us. the ones that continue to do meth are not. most of them got it from the needle. there are alot of things out there that will help you, serf the web and find them. you might check into bio-feedback healing. there is also herbal remedies that will help. if that doesnt work, check into a transplant. you can beat this.
