The 6th sense is good, but isn't it a supernatural thriller?

ey, alien and the thing are greeeaaat. Although alien is part sci-fi.
Making a child watch the Exorcist to be good, well certainly that will not be in my list of how to raise a kid when I have it.

I didn't even see the exorcist as a child and was scared shitless just by the idea of the devil possesing u. Like a year after it's release I saw a scene or two, and I became even more scared. I saw it when I was an teenager, and it was scary still, didn't see it all, just parts, cause that crucifix thing she did was a offensive to me. Sorry I am religious :P

Man, Jaws was great, pretty scary to me since sharks are like the scariest thing to me. Being eaten is the worst way to die.

Best horror movie is still Jaws. I swim in the ocean and I never get in the water without thinking of the movie or hearing the music. . .still. . .after all these years. It was so good because it could have been true. Second best is still Cujo-same reason-could have been true.

Worst-any number of them with the maniac killer-altho some made me jump. I think the worst one I saw lately was The Hills Have Eyes. That was just nasty. And I was so disappointed in the remake of the Hitcher. . .

With all the technology available and the sky is the limit, couldn't you come up with a better plot to scare the h*ll out of everyone. . .

Give me a good dark mystery. . .

The Exorcist still terrifies me. I have nightmares when I watch it, probably because I was raised Catholic (though am no longer) and my parents made me watch that when I was six to scare me into being "good."
The worst, I would say, has to be House of the Dead. It can't even fit into the so-bad-it's-good category.

Worst horror movie... Tough one. Just pick any recent remake of a horror classic. They all suck...

Best horror... I love John Carpenters "The thing". Sure it´s a remake too but not one of the recent crapiolas. "Night of the demon" is also great. It is an original from the fifties.

The worst is one called "Toothfairy" omg it's so terrible everyone should see it to see just how bad it is.

My favourite is the Exorcist.

The best, that is the one that really scared me is "The Shining".

The worst has to be "House of the Dead".
