Oh and I wouldn't care if anyone saw that I thumbs downed their answer. I only do it if the answer is vulgar or if I don't agree with them.

yeh, i do. or, as one answerer says, i'd like to know at least what they objected to. i get a lot of thumbs down. if i say i like dogs, i get a thumbs down..... that sort of thing doesnt bother me, but when i'm actually trying to help someone, and i know my answer is good, it r eally bothers me.... especially when a wrong answer gets picked as best answer.

Ehh, I am curious about this, but....
It's likely for the best that I don't know. -_- I already take the Thumbs Down Trolls too hard and too seriously as it is. And right now....well, I have better things to do with my time here than to *hunt down* the people, of a bible-thumpy sort, who gave me the Thumbs Down on one of my Answers, just for me telling the *truth* of my own experience.
In short. It might be fun to know, but it might also cause me problems once I spend too much time either *going after folks* or going off on other people once Yahoo gives the Trolls a Private Profile--which is something Yahoo Answers does a LOT of already anyway. And there's no need to encourage *that*.

yeah sometimes...especially when my answers are harmless. Then I know that it is just the troll patrol or haters just trying to get a laugh by giving a thumbs down to everyone.

I figure people that give thumbs down are cowards so nah no interest in knowing who the cowards are!

Yes!!
maybe not say who specifically did it but show the reason why they gave thumbs down like:
"I don't agree"
"needs more explanation"
or "that's just wrong!"
etc.

Yes it ticks me off and would love to know who's doing that. But if you think about it, if they showed who thumbs you down, we will all be stalking that person thumbs downing everything they answered. But it's still nice to wish!
