This too shall, and will pass! Do NOT leave school...you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Fill your times at school with friendships, and get involved in extra-curricular activities that you can later use the experience in a career. I know school can be tough at times, I had it rough myself, but I had my close knit friends, and got involved in clubs, etc. I'm thankful I stuck in and have great memories. If I could do school again, I would of gotten more involved than I did, but I still had fun.
Think of it this way, when you try and get a career and don't have a diploma, it'll be 10x's harder to get your life back on track. Stick it out, be yourself, and be proud of yourself. Teacher's aren't always right, but just do what is requested in class, and ignore idiocracy. If you don't trust what the teacher is doing right, go talk to the school counselor, or a counselor in town, and they can help lead you in the right direction or frame of mind.
Best of luck!

Keep going on the PhD program. You'll be thankful that you did in the long run. It will take a lot of effort, but only the first couple years are really hard, and even those are mostly spare time (well, not spare, but lets say unstructured). Actually, having a child and knowing that there is only so much time to be had has sped a number of students up in their studies and made them more successful candidates. Typically, a PhD program must be completed within 7 years. It may take as little as 2 or 3 years. Good luck.

You will have days that your teacher will get on your
last nerves. Don't quit school because of a teacher you
do not like. Try to find something positive about your teacher.
It also helps me if I take a notebook and write my true feelings
down on paper then rip the paper in small pieces and throw
it away. Call 1-800-759-0700 for prayer. Don't let
yourself become bitter, it only hurts you.

Don't let one teacher ruin the rest of your life!
How old are you???? Why do kids these days think that high school is optional once they reach the age where they can legally drop out. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
Trust me, I have a bachelor's degree and it still took me 3 months to find a decent job. Stay in school and get a leg up in life. You probably won't even remember that teacher's name in 10 years.

Stay in school. You just need to let it go, you'll be out of school soon enough. If you think it will be an ongoing issue with your teacher, talk to a guidance counselor or an advisor about possibly changing classes. Education is a very important thing. It's not as easy anymore to get along in this world without an education, high school or college.

Stay in school, but drop the class that the teacher you cant stand is teaching. If you go to your guidance counselor, and just tell them that you have a hard time connecting with the teacher. She will probably let you change classes, especially because its the beginning of the year. Do not let one teacher ruin your high school experience for you.

As in any other walk of life, some teachers are better than others, and some are more difficult than others. You have to look at it this way: "This teacher has two things I need - knowledge; and a good grade. I'm going to do what I have to do to get both of them."
Whether in school or work, the way to succeed is to find out what the person in charge wants and give it to them.
And won't that "A" be sweet??
Good luck to you.

one time i was so pissed that i wanted to walk out of the classroom, but i didnt. instead, i went straight to the assistant principal after class and complained about her. im glad she was fired the year after. shes been fired from two schools already.
it really isnt hard to get a teacher in trouble.. i also wrote an anonymous complaint letter to the principal which made my teacher extremely distressed causing her to take leave for a couple days. there are a ton of bad teachers who dont belong in a classroom

Stay in school and continue making that teacher's life a living hell. I mean, someone's gotta do it.
Don't quit coz of one horrible incident. If everyone in the world did that then we might as well all leave school and become hobos. Just stay. Think positive and concentrate on all the people that don't piss you off.
=)

Just let it slide by. You need and education to get a good job. It happens all the time, teachers can be really annoying. But just take a deep breath and calm down and get over whatever the teacher said.
