OK, so i bought really expensive dress shirts...as soon as they were mailed to me, i sent them to the cleaners....someone told me that is terrible and that I should have washed them first then sent them to the cleaners...is this true? are my shirts messed up now? (right out of college into the career)

I think dry cleaning is less harsh than machine washing. I don't think they'll be damaged.

Unless they come back from the cleaners in rags you have nothing to worry about. Don't sweat the small stuff.
