Well that usually means they the other guy who is treating you like this may feel threatened that you may get the attention. Or it's possible that the guy is just being protective of someone who he already thinks he's with. It can mean different things depending on the circumstances, but that's the most likely of the two.
It's up to you how you're going to react to it. Only you can decide if the girl is worth pursuing and how much.

It means he's a real pain in the *** and his only goal is to destroy you socially, personally, and anything you may be striving for he will want to stop you or take credit for it as long as you are out of the picture he will have no competition but in a round about way needs you fir his own use and wants to ride your shadow.

Sounds just like old time jealousy to me. You must be something special! Keep your head up, confidence in check, respect yourself and him and others and know that not showing anger or bitterness will make you that much more attractive to the girl(s) and others. Strength, my friend, from within. This other guy obviously doesn't feel like he stands up to you. Take it as a HUGE compliment!

he's jealous of you, just take him to the side and ask him why he's being such a nob, be truthful to him and he should be back.
I agree with 'enjoy', take it as a compliment, don;t worry about it.
