Your question leaves you open to question.
Why would you feel you need to "top" someone like that?
He sounds like a nice person.

Having just read your earlier question. If it is the guy that is getting competitive with you. Ignore him. Be the best you , you can be. If the girl falls for him then she was never meant for you.
You will find someone who will compliment your qualities and lifestyle if you don't look too hard.
Some guys early on in the race seem to have everything going for them, but in reality they are still in the race long after others have ended.
Why? Because they have not learned how to stop searching and really see what is in front of their eyes.

'Proud', and I mean that in a good way. This sounds like a person who takes care of his body, physically and mentally, is doing things he enjoys which makes him happy and I would venture to say he's a great listener! It would be simple to be a proud person. Just be conscious of what you say, what you look like and be good hearted and happy. Try it! You'll like it!
