It is an ignorant, uneducated, biast opinion that should be stopped. My brother served in the Navy and was in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Iraq before a medical discharge. Why do some conservatives go on a rant and say that liberals can't love America? Not all conservatives are like this, but the ones who are need to grow up and get off of the playground. Name calling and finger pointing can only take you so far.

Those who actually think that are ignorant people who allow the bush administration and Faux News to do their thinking for them. They think whatever limbaugh, coulter, hannity, and o'reilly says is true and fact. It's sad because this is one of the major reasons this country is so divided.
Democrat or Republican - your views are your views, but by attacking someone's patriotism because they disagree with the war is moronic. Period.
And Scubadog....Have you seen ANYTHING ON THE NEWS where someone JEERED OR SPIT ON A SOLDIER when they returned home?

That is how they are brainwashed. They are told, "if you love this country you will believe whatever George Bush tells you because God talks to him. If you question anything then you are disloyal and not a patriot." Much like an abusive man telling his wife, "Honey if you didn't make me so mad I wouldn't hit you anymore, now be a good girl and go get me a beer *****." They are weak and don't know any better. They never think to question anything and think anyone who does is against them, because if you were for them you would think like they did right?

i've got in no way seen a collection of conservatives protesting and spewing hate for united states of america until eventually they're arrested for breaking the regulation. i've got in no way seen conservatives tell any branch of the militia that they are undesirable of their city each and all of the at the same time as screaming approximately their rights to accomplish that as defended and earned by the very human beings they decry. i've got in no way seen a conservative burn the flag in protest. and that i've got in no way seen a conservative cry impotently with reference to the worldwide at the same time as doing no longer something extra to alter it than get their image interior the paper. So i'd say you acquire it backwards.

Why are you drawing out the conservatives? I've seen just as many rants from liberals. Don't wag that finger if you're not going to wag it at ALL.

Some people are so conflicted with partys to the point of not careing what their candidate does as long as their party is in tact. Unfortunatly it doesent help out country. If everyone voted for who was the best instead of who is in what party. Things would be alot more stable.

The reason conservatives think that they're the only ones who love America is because, right now, they're the only ones supporting a bullheaded idiot President. And they think if you don't support a Republican President, you don't love America.
Doesn't apply to Democrat Presidents - if you support one of those, you don't love America.
As for the first response to this question... why can't anyone take personal responsibility in this country any more? "Libs do it too" is not an answer to "Why do conservatives [fill in the blank]?" It just isn't. Because if you want us to accept that as a response, you're saying we don't have to expect excellence from you and if that is the case, then there's no reason why anyone should be a conservative, is there?

Good question. I think it's because they want a reason to hate us. Because with our progressive ideals, us loving America is dangerous to them. Because we are patriotic and we want things to change and programs to help people, and improved education and healthcare, and for the war to end.
