I already have a polo t-shirt and a skirt that goes down to my knees. Is that OK to wear or should I wear something else?

I personally think something like pants or jeans is a better plan. Acting workshops frequently have a lot of movement, and although your skirt is long, you may still feel uncomfortable depending on the activity.

Unless you know that this workshop is fancy, wear the polo and jeans or pants that are really comfortable. You don't want to have to worry about your clothing when what you want to focus on is the acting.

Hi there,
Ooo I hope you have fun at the workshop, I'm sure its going to be great...
Well I would wear something comfortable and something you can move around in...like leggings and a longish t-shirt with some flats, you never know they might get you to take your shoes off, they did for us. Jeans would be a good option but if your going to be moving around and going on the ground and doing levals it may be a tad uncomfortable because you have to keep hitching them up...well thats what i have to do.

So I would go for leggings, with a long-sort of top...

If you really want to wear your skirt see what the skirt looks like over leggings....so you can still wear it but you don't have to worry about people seeing anything.

Hope this helps...
Best of luck..
X

Good for you to have a workshop. May I ask with whom you are studying? Do let me know as I feel a responsibility to keep everyone from being scammed. Now do wear the most neutral and comfortable clothing. A professional might wear a leotard and tights. Jeans, t-shirt and flats are great.

Your character.

:-)

I think I'd skip the skirt until I was more familiar with what kinds of things will be going on in class. God forbid they should have you doing extended handstands your very first day - you'd never live it down. ;-) Loose-legged jeans are probably the best bet for the lower half of your body - the upper half is generally much easier to contain, so just wear whatever is comfortable.

You will want to wear something comfy.
Depending on how warm it is wear either gym shorts and a baggy t, or a cuddly warm track suit. May not look gorgeous but you'll regret wearing a skirt.

G'day Disneyfann4ever,

Thank you for your question.

If they wanted you to wear something particular, wear that. If not, wear something that you will feel comfortable in. Jeans, t-shirt and sneakers sounds like a great combo along with something warm if it is going to be a cool day.

Have a great day.

Regards

Wear something you feel very comfortable in and can move without feeling inhibited. A skirt is probably not appropriate even if it goes down to your knees.
