I would still call it a nightmare. After all, there are third-shift workers who have to sleep during the day; I worked third shift for a number of years.

A beginning of a bad day stuck in traffic while pressed for time to get to work on time which is looking impossible. Only to face the reality of being at a job or with a company that doesn't fulfill your reason for rdive in terms of work/career. That's a REALITY with some alright.

If you are not literally sleeping this could be the result of a serious medical issue, such as anxiety disorder (also know as panic disorder), seizures, or a psychological disorder involving hallucinations. You may or may not be conscious of your surroundings during one of these "attacks". If this is the issue, contact someone who can help you, such as a doctor.

It's still a nightmare, however it's probably more like " Night Terrors." I hate those. They freak me out. It happens right after you hit hard sleep ( Rem) I think....
