Not a darn thing.
Legally the street is pubic property and the only one who can stop someone from parking in front of the mail boxes are the US Postal Service.
Since it is an apartment company you can complain to the management and ask them to do something. They have the power to do something, but even that power is limited to the property.
You can petition for a no parking sign to be put in front of the mail boxes, but without backing of the apartment management that is going to be a hard thing to do.

There's nothing you can really do about your neighbors parking in front of their garages as opposed to in them, that is their preference. The mailbox issue though, I'd be pissed to. I'd talk to the management office and inform them of the huge inconvenience this is to you, that you don't appreciate the lack of common sense and respect for patron residences. Write down the license plate number as well so they have something to work with. They'll have the vehicle owner informed and it'll be moved right away I'm sure. "Used car lot" I hate not being organized, or having to view such things on a daily basis, I agree totally. But that's the price we pay for renting. Good luck to you.

about the mail box call the police department and see if they can issue a ticket (it is a parking offense in my state to park infron of group mailboxes) and as for the other cars in the drivways tell the managment of you complex that you want them moved and see what they can do, if that doesnt work take it into you own hands and at night sabatage there cars tastefully so they want to put them in the garge, like vasiline or cover the windows with shoe polish so they have to clean it off before they can drive.. the first time they are late to work they will either move there car or put it in the garage.. or just write them anonymous messages tellin them to move there freaking cars.

Remember what you are feeling right now. And remind yourself of it every time you want to buy something that you don't need. Instead, put that money away for the down payment on the house you will be buying in six months. Remember this feeling every time you'd rather be in front of the TV or at a bar, but instead you're working that second job, saving for that down payment.
You cannot control all that happens to you - but only you get to decide what your response will be.

Get ahold of your landlord and ask him to come by during the time that the parking is a problem. Ask him to advise all the parties involved that they must park properly and that there is no parking in front of the mailboxes. I'm surprised that you get mail delivery if someone is parked in front of the box.

Take a picture of everything and e-mail it or hand carry it to who ever is in charge of the complex. There might be in writing in your lease something about blocking other persons access to their garage...read you lease!

First, try reasoning with them in the nicest possible way. If that doesn't work, talk with the apartment manager. If that doesn't work, talk with the post office. The Bible says we should try to make peace with our neighbors while we can.

Definitely complain to the management. That's the first place to start.
