We always here how women do the majority of household chores, but in my experience and with many guys I talk to, the guys do the bulk of the housework. Opinions?

Let me preface my answer with this: I'm not a guy. But I gotta stand up for my guy. We've been married for 25 years and for the last 10 he's been Mr Mom, doing all that the word "mom" implies. Laundry, dishes, meals, vet appointments for our pets, grocery shopping, ironing, EVERYTHING. I work and provide for everything financially and have been successful only because I've had amazing support at home. Why not?! It's a role reversal that works for us.

My man does the most dishes and the most cooking and I do all of everything else (laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, tidying up, and more).

I work M-F my wife does all that stuff but on Sat.& Sun. My wife works so I do the chores on the weekend.

I'm a single dad of two kids (12 yr. old boy, and ten yr. old girl).
*We're all very physically active (athletics, workouts, etc.).
*We can't eat out EVERY night (unhealthy, low funds -divorce issues-).
*I do ALL of the cooking and cleaning, hold down a full time job, and train/compete in martial arts/martial arts tournaments.

laundry= none
because my mom does that
dishes= monday, wednesday, friday
and I mop the floor everyday. :)

i will answer on behalf of my husband. he does none of that but he takes the trash out and takes care of the yard work and he goes out to work i stay home so i do not mind doing these things.
