Fire is an exothermic reaction. When the bonds of the molecules are oxidized and broken, it gives off a lot energy. This energy is in the form of heat. And, light. You can't have a dark fire either for the same reason.

What does hot mean? Hot and cold is a human sensation. Heat is just a transfer of energy from one source to another in an attempt to reach equilibrium. So, fire is just a process of heat transfer in an attempt to reach equilibrium and the second law of thermodynamics states that the whole universe is going from hot to cold, o from higher energy sources (hot) to lower energy sources (cold).

If fire was cold it would not be fire. Fire is what it is by definition. It cant be anything else.

Because the faster the molecular action is the hotter it becomes in that substance.
Cold fire is like having gravity reverse itself. Physically, and according to the laws of physics and life as we know it, it is impossible.
exothermic = a chemical reaction that gives off heat.
