I loved Phil Linz. His harmonica playing is given credit for inspiring the '64 Yankees to win the pennant.

He was a bench player and he loved riding the bench for the Yankees. His quote: Play me or keep me!!

Go to the following link and tell me that Jimmy Piersall was not the biggest flake ever....still remember the time when he was running around like crazy in the outfield...check it out....you will be impressed....sort of!!

Actually I think the bullpin of almost every big league club is full of "flakes" - Have you ever watched to see what those pitchers are doing while sitting around trying to keep awake? Some of them are very creative in a goofy sort of way!

Steve "psycho" lyons was playing a game sometime in the 1980s when he was with the white sox once slid into first and pulled his pants down to wipe off the dirt, but then realized he was doing so in front of thousands of fans and pulled his pants back up, embarrassed. It was funny.
