Al Qaeda/Osama Bin Laden are associated with Afghanistan. What the hell did Bush go to Iraq for and why is he still there? Americans are so naive to think that he has any reason. Don't give me that crap about him trying to free the Iraqi people from Saddam. It took the death of 6 million Jews before America decided to go after Hitler. There are many shitty leaders he could work on next if that were the case. Saddam didn't give a **** what was going on here like Osama does. WHY IS HE STILL THERE? When Iraq was at war with Iran, no one stepped in. When Iraq invaded Kuwait, Bush Sr. was just OH SO CONCERNED and stepped in. You know why? FOR THE OIL!!!! BUSH IS SUCH A BRAINWASHER AND THESE AMERICANS WHO DON'T REALIZE THAT PISS ME THE F*%@ OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh wait, one reason could be that he just hated Saddam. Saddam used to have a picture of Bush Sr. on the floor of one of the hotels so that when visitors came in, they stepped on his face.

Any Iraqi I know will tell you that they'd much rather have Saddam back than have to be dealing with this crap. Besides, Britain and the U.S. helped put Saddam in power in the first place. Their mistake huh?!

HEY JOHN C, SCREW YOUR GAS PRICES. =) IT'S IRAQ'S OIL. BUSH HAS NO RIGHT TO WANT IT AND GO IN BY FORCE AND TAKE IT BECAUSE THAT WAS THE REASON BEHIND THIS WAR HE STARTED. I REPEAT, HE DID NOT GIVE A **** HOW THE IRAQIS WERE BEING TREATED BY SADDAM FOR THOSE WHO STILL BELIEVE THAT.

I agree that the war is senseless and that it is over the oil. I'm an American and I believe in the principles this once great country was built on, but now the U.S. has become a big bully. I'm not extremely religious, but I know that in the bible it states that we will lose a war horribly. Whether that will be a war amongst ourselves or a war with other nations I don't know, but one thing I know for certain is that this country is headed for disaster.

Read "Patterns of Global Terrorism" It's published yearly by the state department and is available for free on the state department web site. Iraq was rated number one for state sponsored terror from 1993 till we invaded. Thats right even during the Clinton administration. The west has suffered over 30 years of islamic terror from the first plane hijacking till now. 9/11 finally awoke the giant and America said "No More".

All of America realizes it, but not all Americans are willing to admit it. They'd rather leave our soldiers over there in the middle of a dangerous sectarian civil war where they have no business being than admit that Bush blew it. It' a disgrace.

Yes, most people realize that "the war on terror" should've never gone to Iraq. However it happended so a dictator can be stopped. For terrorism it's an entirely new story of another war. "Terrorism in the modern sense is violence or other harmful acts committed (or threatened) against civilians for political or other ideological goals. Most definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear or "terror", are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or utterly disregard the safety of non-combatants. Many definitions also include only acts of unlawful violence."

Nice rant, I guess you wanted to fight it in New York? Several Iraqis I spoke to are very happy having more freedom than ever before.
We went after Hitler because we agreed with England and the allies to fight Germany first. We went into WWII because we were attacked by Japan. Still I am certain you understand Roosevelt was a Democrat but that has little to do with your rant.
OK next time someone invades an ally nation we will just sit here and allow it to happen.
If Bush wants the oil I wish my gas prices would go down.

We still don't know who demolished WTC1, WTC2, an WTC7. There has been no objective investigation. The attack and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq is pure unadulterated aggression.
The ongoing occupation of those countries smells of corporate greed at the expense of our dedicated military personnel.

I think that if we wanted to be rid of Saddam, we should have sent a sniper to take him and his sons out.
