ok, so i have to send some application forms to my cousin through the mail. How would i go about, and what would i use to mail a small stack of 8x11 sheets w/out having to fold them. Like, what type of envelope would i use, what kind of stamp, how much would it cost.

thank you all you mailing experts!!

Go to the post office, and get an 8x11 legal manila envelope.
Slide forms into it unfolded. They will weigh it for you, and put a metered stamp on it. Should not be over $2!

Just go to the mail office and tell them you would like to send documents "Certified Mail" They will give you a hard document envelope that you mail put forms in. It should cost you but a few bucks to send anywhere in the country. This is the fastest and easies way for you to get done what you need done. Good luck to you...

just go to Mailboxes Etc, or Kinko's and they will help you. If you can't do that, get some cardboard to protect the papers, get a big envelope, and go to the post office to find out how much postage. Hey, even the post office might have strong envelopes or boxes.

Go to Walmart or Walgreens or any other dept. or drug store and buy a pack of large manila envelopes. Five sheets of paper weigh one ounce -- use one stamp per ounce. (not including the weight of the envelope)
