My honest opinion, now I really do think now, that it is all about the money, no amount of money will ever bring his Son back. He is looking out for himself, and his Daughter. I can't fault him for that.

Not rescuing his son from bankruptcy doesn't imply he didn't love him, but the opposite. He loved him enough to allow Ron to dig himself out of bankruptcy so he hopefully wouldn't make the same mistakes again. As for the money of O.J.'s book, I truly think he just doesn't want to see O.J. earn any money off the murder of his son and Nicole. O.J Simpson murdered those two people and got away with it. Fred Goldman is a grieving man and will not get his son back and he knows that. I admire that he's not given up and has continued to pursue O.J. and make him pay. O.J. may not have had to answer to a judge here on earth but one day he will answer to a much higher authority. That day is when he meets his maker.

I think Fred Goldman is a grieving father that heads a grieving family, and is exploring every opportunity available to him for any kind of justice.
O.J. Simpson is an arrogant, evil murderer without conscience or humanity. He got away with murder, and he laughs in the faces of his victims' families.
Goldman will go to his grave feeling that he never did enough to avenge his young son's brutal death. May God be with him and his family, and with Nicole Brown's family.
May God damn O.J. Simpson. -RKO- 09/15/07

No, I think he's desperate for Simpson to be punished in some way. The publication of Simpson's book seems like a last resort. I really don't think that he's comfortable with it, but it's the only way to get at him in a way that will hurt-- financially.
