One of them happened to be the teacher's daughter. She's very rambunctious, full of energy & very silly. She's extremely outgoing, not shy at all around me altho she doesn't even know me and she's very loud. We were acting out a scene and this little girl is an attention grabber so of course she was bouncing off the walls with energy, everyone loving her. I couldn't imagine her being like that in every day life. Besides, I've seen her act more modest & more human-like before.I was playing her mom in this scene. So I was trying to act as motherly as possible & you know how mothers are always complaining about their kids! They're always nagging and just like I said complaining! So as she was acting wild & crazy I asked her did I raise you like this? I was just trying to be motherly and a good actress using realistic motherly sayings that mothers would say to their kids. Her mother made a odd face puckering her lips. Do you think I offended her? I didn't mean for it to come out that way!

I take it this was an improv?

The rules for improv are that you pick up and run with what the others are giving you. She was obnoxious, you were her mother, you acted tight-arsed. Teacher should understand that it was your character speaking to her character, not you personally speaking to her personally.

Golly, I've acting in scenes where I've shot people, bit girls on the throat, blasphemed, roughed people up. None of them thought I meant a word of it personally, it was just the show.

Surely you don't think that Paul Sorvino got mad at Woody Allen for casting his daughter Mira as a dumb prostitute, do you? Especially after Mira won an Oscar for the part.

I think you are nuts to be in a class with the daughter of the teacher. You will never do anything right and the little darling will always be right. Sounds like she is a real pain. I hope you are not paying for this class, cause if you are , you are being cheated.

I doubt you offended her. It may have just been gas.
