it all depends on what band is playing and who is going. My first concert was in the 5th grade. I went to go see Green Day. My father and my friend came...a little embarassing, but I wanted to go. The first time I went to a concert without a parent was my freshman year of High School to see the Used, MCR and Thrice. It really all depends on the band and how well you think you can manage yourself. Concerts get a bad rep. I mean there are ocassionally fights and some people get hurt, but it's almost a rarity. Most people are there to have a good time, not to give you a hard time. I've gone to see some mellower, more popular bands, where there are alot of "little kids "as I call them (sorry)...but they are younger teenagers. If you're into heavier music, I wouldn't suggest going untill you're in high school. You'll regret it when you get there. Heavier music causes the crowd to move alot, and if you're younger/smaller you will be "tossed around". Don't worry, you'll eventually be able to go, and you'll enjoy every minute of it.

Depends on the act, I have been to many concerts and seen very young kids there. I went to The Police, and I saw entire families there.

It can be argued that a concert may not be the best environment for young teens, but really it is the discretion of the venue. Call the venue that has the show you want to see and ask if they have any age restrictions.

It all depends on where the concert is....and your age...for instance.. if the concert is at a bar then you most likely have to be 18+ if the concert is in an open arena then prob any age.
